February was quite a busy month. We had one impromptu and four scheduled performances. I had a request from a
dear friend to sing a favorite song for her husband’s birthday. It feels wonderful when I can share my music with my friends on special occasions. I also performed at the Coral Ridge Country Club and at Mariposa Restaurant at Neiman-Marcus. I was moved by the fact that so many people came from faraway places such as Naples and Jacksonville to enjoy my shows. On March 17th, I’ll be performing at the 48th Annual Rotary Key Biscayne Art Festival between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. It’s a free event so I hope you will join me.
On the music front, we continue to receive wonderful reviews for Sonríe and we are also getting closer to finishing the next project. My producer, Hal Batt, is putting together the final stages and we hope to have the album completed soon.
I’ve been spending a lot of time planning our summer and fall travel because this year we are celebrating our anniversary and my husband’s birthday in a big way. I still have a few loose ends to tie up but I am looking forward to sharing our plans with you as we get closer to the departure dates.
I wish you all a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Lots of Smiles,
Sylvia
