August Newsletter

Our summer travel is in full swing and as you read this we are in the midst of a safari in South Africa. Technology allows me to keep in touch regardless of how far away I may be. Janet and I have managed to schedule calls using Skype and text messages. 

The past two weeks have been just amazing. Our first stop was Paris where we did a lot of walking through the city to visit our favorite places like the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysee. We also went on a dinner cruise on the River Seine which was in one word, “Romantic.” We discovered a few new restaurants and cafés that we’ll have to put on our list of places to return to. One such café was Le Flore en l'Ile; you must try their hot chocolate! I took the opportunity to meet with Carlos Nieto, our representative in France, to discuss some business regarding the upcoming release of Sonríe. 

We then flew to Iceland where we began touring the different regions of the country. One of the most memorable dinners we had was at Sjavargrillid. Chef Gustav Axel Gunnlaugsson won the Chef of the Year 2010 award at the age of 23. Some of the highlights of our visit were visiting Gullfoss (Golden Waterfall), taking a boat ride to see the icebergs and glaciers, visiting the black sand beaches with the rock formations and relaxing at the famous Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa. 

We will be launching the pre-sale campaign for Sonríe on August 16th. We’ll be including two free surprise tracks for those of you that place an order during that time. Stay tuned for more information.
