Where is Sylvia?
This part of our trip feels more like a home away from home. We have been doing less traveling and a lot more socializing. We have had a few get-togethers with our friends from Carmel and Janet and Ed were here for their annual visit to Carmel.
Believe it or not, I have managed to squeeze in some business during this time. The other Janet and I have had weekly phone meetings to discuss the various projects we are working on. We are getting “Save the Date” postcards ready for my next Performance Season so keep an eye out for the large postcard in your mailbox.
We are also working with our publicist Kari on the upcoming release of the Christmas CD, It’s Christmas Time with Sylvia Bennett. This album is a fresh approach to holiday classics and includes four brand new songs written by me and my producer, Hal S. Batt. You will be able to listen to it at SmoothJazz.com when the holiday season begins. We have sent the CDs to CDBaby where you will be able to purchase it online. They are also available at The Island Shop in Key Biscayne, FL and at Sunriver in Carmel Valley, CA.
